Terms and Conditions
1. The starting rate for this service is $100. This charge includes a base of six photos that are post-processed to the discretion of the photographer. If a client wishes to receive more than six photos then they have the option to purchase additional photos at a cost of $5 per photo (includes all clauses listed above, no extension to time). The title of client entails a single person, each participating client within the session must pay the starting rate separate from the other clients within the same session, unless negotiated with the photographer. A $40 deposit is required by each client within the group to secure their date/time for their session. The max length of this session is 1.5 hours.
2. The photographer will not provide photos to the client that they do not deem up to personal standards. The photographer will upload all of the photos to a Google Drive after the session is completed. All photos uploaded will include a watermark that will be removed once the client purchases the photos. It is the role of the client to choose a minimum of six photos that they would like to purchase. The client is to send the photographer the photo numbers (the photo number will be unique to each photo, eg. PICK 1234) via Google Form that will be sent by the photographer. Please give the photographer 24-48 hours to make sure they are up to standard and allow time for post processing. If there is an issue with a photo the client has selected, the photographer will reach out to the client to choose an alternative photo. Final photos will be made available to the client within 72 hours sending in their final selects.
3. The client shall assist and cooperate with the photographer in obtaining the desired photographs, including but not limited to: specifying persons and/or scenes to be photographed, taking time to pose for photographs with the photographer’s direction, pre-shoot meetings, etc. The photographer shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the client’s failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation. It is the role of the client to ensure that they have at least six different photos/poses taken of them.
4. Final photographs will be made available to the client via WeTransfer. A link will be sent out after payment is submitted and the link will be available for 14 days, after which the link will no longer work and the deposit will not be returned to the client. The photographer retains copyrights of the photographs and hereby grants the client unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use and/or reproduce the photographs and may print them in any way they see fit. The client must select their photos within four weeks of the photographer sharing the photos, unless agreed upon differently within a reasonable time frame post-session, a $10 fee will apply if photos are selected after the four week period. A reminder email will be sent out at the three week mark to remind the client to submit their photos. If the client wishes to share the photos on Instagram, they must tag @_picks_pics. An invoice will be sent to the client, payment must be given to the photographer (E-transfer) within two weeks of the final photos being submitted, failure to do so will result in photos being removed from the photographer's storage devices.
5. The client is responsible for appropriate attire for the session including renting a graduation gown if they so choose. If inclement weather is forecasted for the day of the session, the photographer will reach out the day before to determine a course of action. If weather is deemed too poor to shoot (rain, heavy snow, extreme cold, heavy fog), the session will be moved to an alternative day. The deposit will not be refunded if the client cancels the session within 72 hours of the session start time or fails to come to the session without a 72 hour notice. Rescheduling unrelated to weather must be done at least 72 hours in advance. Your photos may be posted on the Pick’s Pics Instagram account, Twitter account or website.
