My name is David Pickering. I am a Trent University graduate, a Registered Nurse and owner of Pick’s Pics.

I started my photography journey in late 2019 with disposable cameras, introduced to me by my roommate at the time. I bought my first DSLR in January of 2020 and have been taking photos ever since. I would describe my personal style as clean, energetic and immersive. My favourite things to photograph are sports, musical performances, wildlife and portraits.

I am currently the Head Varsity Photographer for the Trent Excalibur, Team Photographer for the Peterborough Lakers, and one of the Team Photographers for the Peterborough Petes. I continue to do work for the Hockey Hall of Fame, Ontario Hockey League, and National Lacrosse League. Some of my previous experience includes the Ontario Collegiate Athletic Association, Major League Rugby, League1 Ontario and Canada Basketball.
