My name is David Pickering. I am a Trent University graduate, a Registered Nurse and owner of Pick’s Pics.

I started my photography journey in late 2019 with disposable cameras, introduced to me by my roommate at the time. I bought my first DSLR in January of 2020 and have been taking photos ever since.

I would describe my personal style as clean, energetic and immersive. My favourite things to photograph are sports, musical performances, wildlife and portraits. I have done work for the NLL, OHL and Canada Basketball, as well as work for teams within the OUA, OCAA, MSL, and MLR. Some of my current roles include Head Varsity Photographer for the Trent Excalibur and one of the team photographers for the Peterborough Petes.
